Nice expressions. Classic. Enjoy.
Our trip to Jo-Ann Fabric Store 2/22
We needed to purchase thread for my first project which is modifying both of my daughters swim suit straps (a bit of a deviation from my original plan but hey, I'm a mom and I have to be flexible-plus it beat's last year's solution to a swim suit strap that was too long, a hair tie!!)
Cate, 9 & Lucy, 2
As you can see there is a ton of thread at Joann's and I just picked the brand/label that said it was "all purpose" and it was under a $1. :) BTW there was 3 rows of thread that looked identical to this one!

Cate picking out her skirt pattern.
My first purchases. The thread is for both my girl's swim suit straps.
Cate choose the skirt that the "big girl" model is wearing and she choose the chevron grey/white fabric.
I think for Lucy's skirt (if I can) I will use the pattern that the "little girl" model is wearing.
I will always post the receipt so I have record of what I spent.
**Note: the pattern says it is EASY...we will see :)

First thing is first, I must learn how to put the thread onto (or into, not sure which yet) my sewing machine. This is actually a very important skill that will be necessary for me to complete my task. Video to follow. :)
